About Us

Welcome To JW Training & Coaching

Hi, I’m Josh Wood, the founder of JW Training and Coaching. I formed this business as I felt we have a clear value to give to support workers looking to start their own NDIS Support Worker Business.

We developed a front-to-back training and consulting program to teach our clients everything they need to know, while also giving them the tools and industry connections they’ll need to do everything right and make it all far easier and less painful than just winging it.

Why Should You Care?

As a private support worker, you’re far more likely to succeed if you have the proper preparation and knowledge. This means having the right tools and coaching if you’re looking to be NDIS self-employed with your own support business. You want to be fully equipped to tackle any situation, know what’s in store, achieve a sustainable and rewarding part-time or full-time career, stand out professionally, and be renumerated for your efforts accordingly.

This is to avoid disappointment going back to your old job or situation and wasting valuable time and effort. It also ensures quality care and consistency for NDIS participants and their families.

Our History

Owner Josh Wood knows what it takes to be a great self-employed support worker and has successfully managed his own NDIS private support business. Before embarking on an NDIS career as a trainer and support business owner, Josh was employed in corporate customer development roles for 15 years, but felt this wasn’t his true calling. He needed to help others in a career where he was able to make a genuine difference. I’m sure you understand this calling too.

What Josh did take away is becoming skilled in matching the right offering with the right client – through understanding the strengths and skills on offer to clients, and which clients could best use those skills.  JW Training & Coaching has taken the exact same approach when putting together our package and ongoing training & coaching.

You can’t be everything to everyone, but you can be excellent at what you are good at, especially when you understand why. This couldn’t be more true in NDIS and fundamental to measurable success.
